Events, Marketing & Office Manager (Maternity Cover) - September 2025 to August 2026
An experienced Event, Marketing individual is urgently required for this exciting opportunity to work for a boutique investment events firm based in London, specialising in producing high-quality roundtables and forums for family offices, institutional investors, and asset managers.
This role will be required to provide maternity cover. A Hybrid role which encompasses operations, event planning, marketing, and office management.
- Contract Type: Fixed-term from December 2025 – August 2026
- Location: Remote, with occasional in-person events in Central London
- Working Pattern: Part-time onboarding from September 2025 (1–2 days/week); full or part-time from December 2025 (schedule to be agreed)
- Salary/hourly rate : Competitive (depending on experience)
Day-to-Day of the Role:
Events:
- Lead the planning and delivery of investor roundtables and forums in London.
- Manage logistics, liaising with venues, caterers, AV teams, and other suppliers.
- Coordinate speaker materials, delegate communications, and event briefing packs.
- Oversee guestlist management and RSVPs.
- Attend and manage approximately 10 in-person event days during the contract period.
Marketing & Communications:
- Design and produce event invitations and collateral using InDesign.
- Draft client communications and post-event summaries.
- Manage content updates for the company website and LinkedIn page.
- Produce investor-facing materials and 1-pagers in InDesign.
Operations & Office Management:
- Handle general administration and supplier coordination.
- Manage all incoming and outgoing invoices, uploading receipts to Xero and preparing summaries for quarterly VAT returns.
- Maintain internal trackers and planning documents, primarily in Excel.
- Support light Salesforce CRM reporting and data updates.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
3+ years' experience in operations, marketing, or event management, ideally within a professional services or financial setting.
- Excellent written communication and editing skills.
- High attention to detail, strong organisational abilities, and a calm, proactive mindset.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with tools such as Canva and LinkedIn.
- Experience with InDesign, Xero, and Salesforce is a plus, but not essential.
