Develop your legal career with an award-winning Residential Property team known for providing long-term support to clients. We are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Assistants to join our dynamic team and contribute to our reputation for excellence.

Day to day of the role:

  • Review local searches against previous records and manage Help to Buy loan redemptions in coordination with lenders.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, sales offices, and developer solicitors, escalating complex inquiries to Fee Earners as needed.
  • Verify mortgage offers and liaise with clients and lenders to address any queries.
  • Follow up with clients for deposits and paperwork, ensuring files are prepared for exchange.
  • Handle post-completion matters, including registrations and conducting search applications.
  • Close abortive files and occasionally generate quotes and initiate files during peak periods.
  • Draft and dispatch documents to buyers' solicitors for sales.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2 years Conveyancing experience at a fast paced firm
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs, including Maths and English.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in data entry with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong IT skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
