Conveyancing Assistant

Develop your legal career with an award-winning Residential Property team known for providing long-term support to clients. We are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Assistants to join our dynamic team and contribute to our reputation for excellence.
Day to day of the role:
- Review local searches against previous records and manage Help to Buy loan redemptions in coordination with lenders.
- Communicate effectively with clients, sales offices, and developer solicitors, escalating complex inquiries to Fee Earners as needed.
- Verify mortgage offers and liaise with clients and lenders to address any queries.
- Follow up with clients for deposits and paperwork, ensuring files are prepared for exchange.
- Handle post-completion matters, including registrations and conducting search applications.
- Close abortive files and occasionally generate quotes and initiate files during peak periods.
- Draft and dispatch documents to buyers' solicitors for sales.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2 years Conveyancing experience at a fast paced firm
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs, including Maths and English.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in data entry with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong IT skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
