We are seeking a Commercial Administrator to join an experienced UK Commercial Team. This role is pivotal in providing the necessary support to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day activities, which is crucial for delivering first-class service to our customers and laying the foundation for growth.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Collate data from various customer online portals to populate internal KPI reports and distribute them internally to meet specific deadlines.
  • Run reports to support the commercial team as required.
  • Research and record competitor and promotional activity, including private label, both online and in-store.
  • Complete customer-specific forms and communicate with the marketing & operations team regarding planned activities.
  • Support the commercial team in preparing and delivering customer presentations and brand days.
  • Manage invoice recording for approval and assist in resolving invoice queries.
  • Track customer service levels using online portals and liaise with the supply chain to maintain stock levels.
  • Coordinate and distribute the annual promotional plan and brand samples or packaging as necessary.
  • Provide product imagery or content for marketing activities upon customer request.
  • Maintain and update the customer contact database.
  • Manage the sales email inbox and be the first point of contact for trade accounts and new enquiries.
  • Update and distribute trade account price lists.
  • Perform other administrative tasks and support as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven administration experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills to establish collaborative win-win relationships.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload to meet objectives and deadlines.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
  • Good time management and the ability to work calmly under pressure.
  • Great attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • A go-getting, ambitious, can-do attitude with a team-oriented mentality.
