We are looking for experienced Band 5/6 Mental Health Nurses for a well-known Mental Health Trust in the Northwest.
Description:
- Support the Unit Manager in providing clinical and professional leadership within the designated clinical area of responsibility.
- Support the Unit Manager and colleagues in implementing the Trust's policies and protocols, including those of the prison.
- Ensure the delivery of optimal quality of care.
- Advocate and implement evidence-based clinical practice and development.
- Collaboratively implement change management.
- Provide care in partnership with service users, the prison service, criminal justice-related agencies, and allied agencies.
- Care for both mental health, physical, and palliative conditions.
- Deputise appropriately when required.
- Deliver group health promotion and therapeutic 1-1 sessions.
- Provide personal care.
Skills & Experience:
- Registered RMN - post preceptorship.
- Demonstrable experience of working in a healthcare setting relevant to specialism.
- Experience in secure, forensic, or prison settings.
- Awareness of MDT and multi-agency working.
- Understanding of the nursing process in accordance with evidence-based practice.
- Awareness and application of trauma-informed care.
