They are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality science education to students in Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and contributing to the wider school community. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging science lessons that cater to a diverse range of learning styles and abilities.
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that meets educational standards and the national curriculum requirements.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help students achieve their full potential.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love of learning.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to enhance the learning experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and initiatives.
  • Support extracurricular activities and school events as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree in Science or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching science at the secondary school level.
  • Strong knowledge of the science curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Eligibility for visa sponsorship.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Experience with GCSE and A-Level science subjects.
  • Familiarity with modern educational technology and digital learning tools.
  • Experience in leading or supporting extracurricular activities related to science.
