We are seeking a supportive and reliable Special Needs Nursery to Key Stage 5 Teaching Assistant to assist PS, Complex, and ASD pupils, based in Tonbridge, Kent.
This is a contracted role for the successful Special Needs Teaching Assistant who will support the students with compassion, enthusiasm and understanding. The School values Hard work, Kindness, fun and Safe Guarding of their pupils, which are all key requirements necessary to the role.
The successful Special Needs Teaching Assistant must be clear in all communications with the all Nursery through to Key Stage 5 students and staff, has an encouraging and supportive attitude, can develop strong and professional learning journeys for the pupils during their educational journey.
Furthermore, the Special Needs Teaching Assistant must be able to confidently face challenges that may arise with the pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Teacher with educating the Nursery through to Key Stage 5 pupils within an inclusive, supportive and positive environment
- Assist students with any class work and tasks provided by the Teacher
- Be a listening ear to the Nursery through to Key Stage 5 students and a supportive role model
Candidate Requirements:
- Relevant experience in assisting Nursery through to Key Stage 5 PS, Complex/ASD pupils
- Enthusiasm for assisting pupils with learning
- Strong communication and team building skills with the students and staff
Summary:
Information on the Teaching Assistant role:
Location-Tonbridge, Kent.
Pay- £85-100 per day.
This is equivalent to £425-£500 per week Full-Time.
Day rate is dependent on qualifications and experience.
Hours- 8.30am- 3.30pm Monday-Friday.
Full-Time and Part-Time roles available.
Contract- Day-to-day, short-term, long-term, and permanent roles available.
Year- Key Stages 1-5 (Years 1-11, age 5-16). Some roles available in Key Stage 5 (Years 12-14, age 16-19).
Qualifications- GCSE Maths and English Grade C or Level 5 and above.
