This leading entertainment business has an opening in their finance team for a Client Payments Assistant.
The Client Payments Team play a pivotal part within the business to ensure the timely and accurate payment to their clients and you could join the team.
This is a busy and varied role and is great for someone looking for an entry level finance/accounts position or an individual with finance experience who likes a varied transactional role within a thriving media business.
You will possess a want to learn and have a nice confidence that allows you to easily interact with others, both within the business and externally.
It would be great if you have a genuine interest in the Media/Entertainment industry whilst also looking for a start in finance!
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Prepare client statements for the client teams to review
- Match and post bank receipts to client projects
- Record payments received and calculate commission splits
- Set up domestic and international payments for approval
- Raise invoices on behalf of clients and chase outstanding payments
- Assist with bank reconciliations
- Deal with any client payment related queries
- Support the bi-weekly client income reviews
- Identify commission splits from third parties
Candidate Specification:
- Previous finance experience or looking to start a career in finance
- Confident communication skills, written and verbal
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Willingness to learn, great attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines
- Organised, self-motivated, and focused on constantly improving (self and processes)
- A positive character with opinions you are not afraid to voice and a "can do" attitude
- Solutions orientated
- A genuine passion for the Media/Entertainment industry
