As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be instrumental in supporting students with autism, helping them develop essential skills and reach their full potential.

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Relevant Experience: Previous experience working with individuals with autism or in a similar support role.
  • Collaborative Spirit: A team-oriented approach with excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and fellow support staff.
  • Understanding of Autism: A basic understanding of autism spectrum disorders and a willingness to learn and adapt to individual student needs.
  • Patience and Empathy: The ability to remain patient, compassionate, and understanding, even in challenging situations.
