Trainee Extreme Installer

Our client is looking for a trainee extreme installer to join their company. This for a person who is looking for a career.

Main Duties

  • Installation of the lining system to the highest possible standard.
  • Occasional installation and repair of any products.
  • Driving to and from site around the UK (Driving license essential).
  • Extensive travel around the UK, with nights away at site (overnight allowance and accommodation paid).
  • Working as part of a team.
  • Liaising with the customer on site with regards to the individual requirements of the job in hand.
  • At all times to promote and protect the company name, reputation and products. To liaise and deal with all staff, customers and clients in a professional manner. To assist the manager in all aspects of running the department in order to maintain and expand the existing customer base.
  • In off seasons you will be required to working in other areas of the factory that need help.

Experience and Skills

  • Has worked away from home and is used to it.
  • Be a practical person.
  • Previous experience as a carpet fitter, a carpenter, construction or a sheet metal worker would be a bonus.
  • Someone who is used to working with their hands in all weathers and understands the importance of the accuracy required.
  • Presentable as dealing with the public.
  • Full driving license is essential.
  • However, as this is a trainee role, our client is open to candidates that have not had the full experience detailed above but can show some experience of hands-on work and accuracy.

Working Hours

  • 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday.
  • 8am to 4pm Friday.
  • 41.5 hours per week.
  • This role is mainly Monday to Friday but there is a chance of the odd weekend.
  • Overtime most weeks during the busier periods as you will have to travel to site and complete jobs before returning back at the end of the week.

Extra Information

  • Overtime is paid or given as time to take at a later date (employees choice), at time and a half once 41.5 hours have been worked in that week.
  • We also pay £45 per night for every night they stay away from home on business.
  • Accommodation is paid and if the premises provides breakfast that will be paid for.
