The company are a leading FinTech organisation, with recent awards from Deloitte and recognised as one of the fastest growing FinTechs in the UK. Their technology solves issues around KYC/AML, Compliance and Risk. Following recent investment the company are about to enter their next phase of rapid growth and are looking for a Head of Marketing to help take the business to its next major milestone.

They are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Head of Marketing to join their leadership team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, with extensive experience in SaaS companies. Ideally this will be within companies that are scaling up. This role demands a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of digital marketing, and the ability to drive our marketing efforts to achieve business objectives. As they are scaling significantly this role is to heavily focus on building the brand, GTM strategy, demand building, events, digital presence and so on.

This is a fully remote role and the business have a remote first mindset. Key Responsibilities: Head of Marketing

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer acquisition.
  • Lead and manage the marketing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Oversee all marketing activities, including digital marketing, content marketing, product marketing, public relations, and events.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer success, to align marketing efforts with business goals.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform marketing strategies.
  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve maximum ROI.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry influencers, media, and strategic partners.
  • Utilize data-driven approaches to measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Drive innovation in marketing practices, staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications: Head of Marketing

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
  • Minimum of 6 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a SaaS company. Ideally you would have worked for 1 or more scale up companies.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive business growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, tools, and best practices.
  • Experience in branding, product marketing, and demand generation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
