Network/Network Security Project Manager/Delivery Manager x2 - Contract - Leeds/Manchester/Edinburgh/Hybrid - 12 Months Initial
We are currently seeking experienced Network/Network Security Technical Project Managers/Delivery Managers to join a leading banking infrastructure program. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a major initiative involving the build and migration of a new data centre, ensuring the seamless transition of the bank's operations without impacting services. This is a contract role, initially for 12 months with possible extensions.
Role Overview:
- Job Title: Network/Network Security Technical Project Manager/Delivery Manager
- Location: Leeds/Manchester/Edinburgh/Hybrid (2 days per week onsite)
- Contract Type: Contract (Inside IR35 PAYE/FTC)
- Duration: 12 months initially
- Sector: Banking
- Pay: £440-470 per day - inside IR35 PAYE or FTC £75-80K per annum + 20 days holiday +8 Bank holidays + Pension + Additional Benefits
Key Technologies:
- Network Technologies: Strong hands-on experience in network deployments involving Cisco technologies/Cisco ACI/F5/Load Balancing/Load Balancer/Firewalls/Checkpoint/Infoblox.
- Core Network Builds: Expertise in complex core network builds, with experience as a former network engineer being a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Budget Management: Full ownership and oversight of project budgets.
- Project Delivery: Ensure the timely and successful delivery of complex network projects.
- Financial Analysis: Support project decision-making with detailed financial analysis.
- Process Improvement: Identify and drive process enhancements within the project lifecycle.
- Planning & Implementation: Develop and execute comprehensive project plans.
- Resource & Supplier Management: Coordinate and manage internal resources and third-party suppliers.
Mandatory Tools & Methodologies:
- Jira
- Confluence
- Prince2/APMP certified, with experience in Agile foundations or working practices.
- ITIL certified or strong understanding of ITIL processes.
- Previous experience in Banking or Financial Services is highly desirable.
