We are looking for a Creative & Studio Assistant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creative design and photography with a working knowledge of InDesign and Capture One. This duel role supports our in-house Creative Designer and Photographer with day to day art working, asset management and shoot preparation including supporting the running of the studio when shoots are in progress. This role supports the creative arm of the marketing team who work on multiple projects with set deadlines therefore working quickly and accurately is key to this role.
Competencies:
- Design or Photography qualification preferable
- Working knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator
- Attention to detail with creative thinking applied
- Working understanding of Capture One and image processing
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Word & Excel.
- Fluent English, written and spoken
- Accurate record keeping and reporting
- Clear understanding of FTP and other document transfer technologies.
- Understanding of branding
- Passion for the outdoors and travel.
- Prepared to travel
- Strong communicator and team player
- At least 1-year experience of working within a marketing consumer brand
Main duties:
- Supporting the Creative Designer to artwork print and digital assets
- Set up and work with templates.
- Cut out and manipulate imagery
- Use Microsoft Excel to support window POS allocations and budget tracking support
- Research upcoming trends to elevate brand imagery and design
- Social Media asset production
- Support with seasonal window campaigns allocations and management
- Preparing images for the re-toucher by renaming and exporting shoot photos with Capture One
- Studio Shoot Support – helping to style flat lays and mannequin shots, steaming garments, general studio support during heavy shoot periods
- Organise new season product samples, and assist in preparing for location shoots
- Organise shoot lists and upload images to CMS
- Support the Photographer with ensuring delivery deadlines are met.
- Support with stock removals
- Support with model bookings
- Track shoot samples and prepare for shoots both in-house and overseas
