Quantity Surveyor
£45,000 per annum + £3,600 TAX FREE BONUS ANNUAL
Minimum 4-5 years years experience required
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
Location: Tamworth with occasional travel to construction sites across the UK
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Understand project specs, pricing, and contracts
- Assist in negotiating contracts with clients/main contractors
- Collaborate on pre-start planning with departments
- Select and analyse suppliers/subcontractors
- Manage orders, variations, and payments
- Attend project meetings and track progress
- Implement cost control improvements
- Handle change management processes
- Provide commercial advice to staff
- Measure and negotiate contract variations
- Liaise with clients on commercial matters
- Prepare monthly cost/valuation reports
