In this role, you will play a crucial part in efficiently managing the processing of orders and ensuring seamless coordination between departments. Responsibilities:

  • Manage the orders email by prioritising and distributing them to the relevant departments or team members on a daily basis.
  • Release and manage UPVC, Aluminium, and ancillary batches as requested by the Production Manager and Managing Director.
  • Perform quality checks by matching order numbers against order emails to ensure accuracy.
  • Address any customer inquiries or questions by referring to the front file and responding promptly.
  • Organise files and documents in relevant areas for purchased items and update the tray with profile dates.
  • Coordinate the process of ordering glass by creating templates, sending orders to Glass System, and keeping a copy for reference.
  • Print supplier order confirmations, cross-check them with the order, and update delivery dates.
  • Assist with general office administration tasks such as file management and collaborating with other departments.

Requirements:

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and external suppliers.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and other relevant computer systems.
  • Previous experience in a similar administrative role is desirable but not essential.
