Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a track record of success in the civil engineering sector? Our client, a leading civil engineering contractor, is seeking a talented Project Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a high-profile infrastructure project.

**Role Overview:

As a Project Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the financial management of a major civils project. You will be responsible for cost planning, contract administration, and ensuring the project is delivered within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage accurate cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Oversee contract administration, including reviewing and negotiating terms with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Conduct regular cost reporting and ensure effective financial controls are in place.
  • Manage risk and opportunity assessments to maximize project profitability.
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of the project.

**Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil engineering, with a focus on large-scale projects.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a deep understanding of contract law and construction methods.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
