**Role Overview:
As a Project Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the financial management of a major civils project. You will be responsible for cost planning, contract administration, and ensuring the project is delivered within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage accurate cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts.
- Oversee contract administration, including reviewing and negotiating terms with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Conduct regular cost reporting and ensure effective financial controls are in place.
- Manage risk and opportunity assessments to maximize project profitability.
- Work closely with the project team to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of the project.
