Job Overview:

Based in Birmingham, my client, a successful UK based Multidisciplinary Engineering Consultancy which specialises Civil and Structural Engineering, is seeking a motivated Junior Structural Engineer to join their busy team. We are looking for a Junior Structural Engineer with 1 year of experience to join our engineering team. You will have the opportunity to take part in commercial, residential, industrial, healthcare, school and leisure projects.This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or an early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities of this Structural Engineer:

  • Assist in the structural analysis and design of buildings, bridges, and other structures.
  • Use software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Tekkla or TEDDS
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure design accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Prepare and modify design drawings, specifications, and reports under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Participate in site visits and inspections to observe construction progress and verify compliance with design specifications.
  • Attend training sessions and workshops as provided by the company.

Required Qualifications for this Structural Engineer:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1 year of experience in structural engineering, internships, or relevant coursework.
  • Experience with software skills such as AutoCAD, Revit, Tekkla or TEDDS
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
