Our client is a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) specialising in delivering cutting-edge IT solutions and support to a wide range of businesses. Renowned for their proactive approach and dedication to customer satisfaction, they are now looking for a talented 3rd Line Support Engineer who can also contribute as a Presales Consultant to join their expanding team.

Role Overview:
As a 3rd Line Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing advanced technical support and solutions to clients, focusing on complex issues and infrastructure improvements. In addition to support duties, you will act as a Presales Consultant, working closely with the sales team to design and propose innovative IT solutions to potential clients. This dual role requires a strong technical background and excellent communication skills to effectively bridge the gap between technical capabilities and client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 3rd line technical support, resolving complex issues related to Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and Hyper-V.
  • Lead technical projects and implementations, ensuring best practices and optimal performance.
  • Work closely with the 1st and 2nd Line Support teams to escalate and resolve challenging issues.
  • Act as a Presales Consultant, collaborating with the sales team to understand client requirements and design tailored IT solutions.
  • Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to potential clients, showcasing the value of proposed solutions.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend new products and services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a 3rd Line Support role within an MSP environment.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and Hyper-V.
  • Experience in a presales or consultancy role, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Relevant IT certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar are desirable.
