Reed Accountancy & Finance are seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to join our team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone who is immediately available and can commit to a full-time office based role. Day-to-day of the role:
- Maintain financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
- Manage bank feeds and reconciliations.
- Prepare financial reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising account information.
- Handle monthly payroll duties and prepare VAT returns.
- Work closely with the accounting team to create and analyse financial reports, ensuring legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments.
- Utilise accounting software to streamline processes and enhance financial reporting accuracy.

Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping practices and principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
