Their team is dedicated to ensuring the safety, health, and environmental (SHE) standards are met to the highest level across all their projects. As they continue to expand, they are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior SHE Advisor to join their dynamic team.

Job Description: As a Senior SHE Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of safety, health, and environmental compliance across multiple water projects in the Midlands region. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring SHE policies and procedures, providing expert guidance, and ensuring a culture of continuous improvement in SHE performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage SHE activities across various water projects, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and company policies.
  • Develop and implement SHE strategies, plans, and risk assessments.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
  • Provide expert advice and support to project teams on SHE matters.
  • Deliver SHE training and awareness programs to employees and contractors.
  • Compile and analyse SHE performance data, preparing reports for senior management.
  • Foster a positive SHE culture and promote best practices across all project sites.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies, clients, and other stakeholders on SHE issues.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in a SHE advisory role, preferably within the water or construction industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of SHE legislation, regulations, and best practices.
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Chartered Membership of IOSH (CMIOSH) is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to influence and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the Midlands region.
