The opportunity
Head of Finance required for a charitable organisation in Leeds. The role will support the future sustainability of the organisation and strategically manage the finance function. This is a 6 month minimum opportunity.
The role
- Provide strategic management of the organisations finances and advise the senior leadership team on all financial matters
- Lead the financial planning process, managing and delivering annual and medium budgets, forecasts and funding
- Lead the finance team
- Support the development of the financial strategy and supporting business plans
- Responsibility for final accounts ensuring compliance with charity SORP
- Act as Company Secretary
The person
Qualified Accountant with previous experience of compiling statutory accounts and budgets. Charity experience is not essential.
