We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary clients team. Our client's hotel prides itself on delivering a unique dining experience with a menu that reflects the best of seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
- Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
- Oversee and manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work atmosphere.
- Contribute to menu development with creative and innovative ideas.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a reputable restaurant or hotel.
- Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and styles.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and team-working skills.
- Attention to detail and a passion for food and hospitality.
