Located in a peaceful suburban area in Elderslie, at the foot of Gleniffer Braes, Adams House provides specialised services for individuals diagnosed with dementia who can no longer live safely at home.

Our mission is to support those affected by this challenging condition, empowering them to lead their lives as independently as possible while preserving their dignity and self-respect.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Worker to join our team, reporting directly to the Service Manager. This role involves leading a team of care workers, providing exceptional support to service users, and ensuring the smooth operation of our services.

As a Senior Care Worker, you will plan and allocate work, ensure appropriate staffing through rota planning, and provide management cover in the absence of the Service Manager or Deputy. You will act as a key worker for designated service users and play a crucial role in developing, monitoring, and reviewing care plans.

Responsibilities include managing medication processes, assisting in service quality improvement, conducting audits, recruiting and supervising staff, and identifying training needs. You will also be involved in personnel management tasks and participate in staff meetings.

This position requires a relevant SVQ level 3 qualification, basic computer literacy, and the ability to uphold our Christian Ethos. Membership in the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and registration with SSSC are mandatory.
