Harmonic are delighted to be working with one of the most prominent and exciting businesses in the Music Industry in their search for a Royalties Analyst/Income Tracking Analyst.

The company is associated with some of the world's biggest superstars and frequently featured in Music industry publications. They have interests in both publishing and recorded music. The company is extremely well-funded with exciting plans in the future to continue scaling. They are currently on a growth trajectory whereby they will continue to expand, which will mean some great opportunities to progress.

The Role:

Reporting into a talented CFO renowned for their excellent managerial & mentoring skills, the business is looking for a talented Data/Royalties Analyst who can work closely with the CFO and Copyright team. The business is looking for data savvy individual with experience in the music industry.

This is a broad role that will encompass several areas of revenue assurance and data analytics. As this is a dynamic business and this will be a new position, you will be given a certain level of autonomy to mould the position.

Duties:

  • Partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate revenue assurance
  • Ensuring data accuracy and analysing potential issues
  • Providing key pieces of data analysis on income flows
  • Directly liaise with CMOs / PROs to ensure correct and complete distributions, identifying and actioning gaps where possible
  • Leading on process improvement and driving efficiencies
  • Supporting the CFO with any ad-hoc tasks.

What we need to see:

  • Royalties/Data Analytical background (in the Music or Media/Publishing sector)
  • Strong interpersonal / communication skills
  • Experience using analytical and BI tools (ideally SQL, Tableau, Looker),
  • A passion and desire to work in the music industry!

Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 (potential flex for ideal candidate) + fantastic benefits package
