Venn Group is supporting a large South coast based NHS ICB to recruit for a Mental Health Assessor. Full details of the role are below:

Candidate profile:
- Must be qualified AHP and work within IR 35. Experience working in mental health with knowledge of S117 arrangements is essential.
- Participating in complex and detailed information analysis of specific projects/reports requiring high levels of concentration. This includes the ongoing review of enhanced care packages – evidence for ongoing requirements.
- Conducting standard annual reviews and right-size longstanding packages of care
- Supporting the MDT to screen and approve new funding applications.
- Attending discharge planning meetings, CPA's and supporting and managing complex duty cases.
- Provide some proactive case management to individual complex and rehabilitation clients.
- Facilitating timely discharges from acute hospitals and placements where clients are no longer gaining benefit from that service.
- Car driver essential and must be able to travel to clients, offices in South coast area to collect equipment and for team meetings as part of hybrid working arrangements.
