Application Engineer - DV Cleared - £550.00 per day Outside IR35 - Onsite
Day Rate: Up to £550.00 per day (Outside IR35)
Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extensions)
Office Locations: Cheltenham & London (5 days per week at either office is required)
Clearances: MUST HAVE Active DV Clearance
A Cheltenham based defence tech company are looking for a DV Cleared Application Engineer on a contract basis for at least the next 6 months.
You will be part of an on-site team responsible for maintaining and supporting a managed cross-domain service utilizing diverse technologies, platforms, and tools.
The team uses site reliability engineering tools and practices to continuously verify and enhance the service.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Experience working in a managed service environment with a strong focus on service delivery and customer outcomes
- Application development using Java or similar
- Git version control
- Critical thinker with the ability to analyse problems, test hypotheses, and make informed risk decisions
- Ability to quickly prioritize tasks and adapt to changing priorities during incident response scenarios
It would be a bonus if you had any experience of application deployment and administration using micro-service architectures, asynchronous messaging, terraform/ansible or Oracle.
