Here's the deal, this Harrogate based business we need an Assistant Accountant who knows their way around the numbers, someone who can keep the day-to-day ticking, help out at month-end, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves.

What you'll be doing:
- Day-to-day finance stuff - purchase ledger, sales ledger, bank reconciliations.
- Month-end duties - journals, accruals, prepayments.
- Supporting multiple businesses - keeps things interesting (and gives you broader experience).
- Working closely with a Finance Manager who won't breathe down your neck but will have your back.
- Helping improves processes - if you see a better way of doing things, we want to hear it.
What we're not:
- A massive faceless corporation.
- A place that buries you in admin and forgets your name.
- A team that thinks "training" means handing you a login and hoping for the best.
What we'd like you to bring:
- A bit of experience in a finance team - nothing crazy, just enough to know the ropes.
- A good grasp of double-entry, reconciliations, and the usual suspects.
- Working towards AAT/ACCA/CIMA? Great. We'll support that.
- Common sense, curiosity, and a bit of initiative.
The package:
- Location: Harrogate - mostly office-based. We're a collaborative bunch.
- Salary: Up to £35,000 depending on experience.
- Hours: Full-time.
