Absolute Executive Search are partnered with a well established company based in Ashford who are seeking a Management Accountant to join their busy and growing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the international finances and accounting for the business. You will provide financial analysis, project support and advice to management.
You will ensure the required monthly Group reporting takes place on a timely basis as instructed by the Finance Manager and prepare a monthly board pack for the management team, drawing data from your activities as well as the wider business such as client/project profitability, credit risk management and bench costs.
You will prepare monthly management accounts for the company on NetSuite including profit & loss statements, case flow statements and balance sheets assisted by the Finance Manager. You will review accounts receivable ledger balances at month end with credit control and the CEO for potential bad debts along with reviewing the accounts payable ledger for discrepancies and liaise with purchase ledger staff to resolve queries.
Other duties will include:-
- Work with management to prepare annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
- Review proposals and contracts to ensure projects are costed correctly.
- Work with the management team to oversee procurement and purchasing.
- Produce VAT returns and P11Ds for employees.
- Maintain records to support any R&D claims.
Essential Skills
- Experience working in a digital agency is desirable, but not essential.
- NetSuite.
- A professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) 1-2 yrs PQE.
- Management accounting experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
