Description

As a Finance Business Partner, you will collaborate with the Head of Finance to provide essential financial management and insights for large-scale energy projects. Your role will involve ensuring costs and revenues are accurately tracked, preparing business forecasts, and supporting project managers with financial analysis to inform decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare fortnightly business unit forecasts and manage financial performance of key projects.
  • Work closely with project managers to provide financial insights and drive informed decision-making.
  • Support in tender submissions and ensure month-end processes are completed accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Assist with audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Analyse capital expenditure requests and ensure timely invoicing.
  • Deliver ad-hoc analysis and continually seek ways to improve processes and drive efficiencies.

Profile

We are looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner with a background in project accounting. You will be comfortable collaborating with stakeholders, managing budgets, and delivering insightful financial reports. Strong analytical skills and the ability to build strong relationships with non-financial colleagues are essential for success in this role.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

  • CIMA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
  • Experience in project accounting and financial management.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented, with a focus on process improvement.
