Think Community Partnership are seeking a skilled Handyperson to join a reputable Housing Association in Shrewsbury, providing essential maintenance services in key worker accommodation.
Key Responsibilities:
- General maintenance across multiple properties
- Minor repair works (e.g., patching walls, fixing doors, etc.)
- Fire alarm testing and safety checks
- Changing lightbulbs, fixtures, and fittings
- Basic plumbing tasks (desirable, but not essential)
- Responding promptly to maintenance requests from tenants
- Ensuring all tasks are completed in a safe and timely manner
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a similar role (general repairs, maintenance)
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
- Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures
- Basic plumbing skills (advantageous but not essential)
