ole Responsibilities

The Commercial & Regulatory Disputes team is looking for a Solicitor or Associate to join their Exeter or Bristol office. You will assist in providing exceptional service to corporate clients and individuals, managing various domestic and international disputes arising from business activities.

Team Overview

The team has extensive experience in litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution (ADR). Recognised for excellence, they are ranked in both the London and Southwest divisions by Chambers & Partners and Legal 500. Their expertise includes corporate and commercial litigation, professional negligence, reputation management, intellectual property, data privacy, fraud, regulatory investigations, and insurance coverage.

As part of a broader Dispute Resolution practice, the team collaborates with specialists in various contentious matters, offering outstanding training and career development opportunities in an inclusive environment.

Working Environment

You

The position can be based in either Exeter or Bristol, and the ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in a leading commercial dispute resolution practice with strong academic credentials
  • Expertise in sectors such as Consumer Brands, Financial Services, or specialised dispute resolution areas like Insurance
  • A passion for integrating business development with legal expertise
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with colleagues and clients
  • A proactive and collaborative work approach, supporting partners across teams and locations
  • Excellent organisational skills, capable of multitasking and managing competing priorities
  • The ability to communicate effectively under pressure, serving as a positive role model
