Position: Aspiring Educational Psychologist/Clinical Teaching Assistant

Location: Bedford

Salary: £460-£500 per week

Contract: Full Academic Year (September 2024 - July 2025), Monday to Friday (8:30 AM - 4:30 PM)

You'll work closely with therapists, ABA Tutors, and mental health specialists, gaining first-hand experience that will help you determine your future career path in the SEN and Mental Health sectors.

What You'll Be Doing as an Aspiring Educational Psychologist:

Tailored Learning Support: Assist in delivering personalized curriculums focused on key and functional skills for students with diverse learning needs.

Collaborative Environment: Work in small classes (6-8 students) tailored to individual abilities and needs.

Purposeful Engagement: Help children find a sense of purpose and improve their daily lives through meaningful interaction and support.

What We're Looking For as a Aspiring Educational Psychologist:

Educational Background: A degree in Psychology, Health and Social Care, or a related field is preferred. Previous experience with SEN is highly beneficial, particularly for Criminology and Psychology graduates.

Passion for Mental Health: A strong interest in mental health, Autism, and the various learning and behavioural needs associated with SEMH.

Local Candidate: Ideally, you should live within a commutable distance to Bedford.
