Remuneration: €80,000 - €100,000

The role of the Estimating Manager - M&E Services will involve:
- Estimating Manager position role dealing with a range of mechanical & electrical services for the data centre market sector
- Develop and lead the Estimating Team consisting of Estimators & Designers
- Gaining an understanding of project requirements via drawings and client liaison
- Perform quantity take-offs and material pricing to accurately estimate project costs
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services
- Present estimates to clients and participate in negotiation discussions as needed
- Ability to utilise existing Ensign estimating software package to ensure accurate costs are prepared for all new projects
- Analysis of market trends to ensure that bids are competitive
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project-related documentation
- Stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and technology to enhance estimating accuracy and efficiency
The ideal applicant will be an Estimating Manager - M&E Services with:
- Must have 5 years+ experience in an Estimating Manager / Senior Estimator position experience within the mechanical & electrical market sector
- Would consider building services, pharmaceutical, or mechanical related sectors too
- Must have people management / leadership skills
- High standard of organisational and time management skills
- Strong understanding of M&E systems, codes, rates and standards
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- IT literate (Microsoft Office)
