Description

  • Work as part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective service, supporting senior managers and staff of PMO in co-ordinating, planning and scheduling programmes across the organisations portfolio; from project initiation through to final completion and revenue realisation.
  • Co-ordinate and support the Business meeting for the PMO team ensuring performance against work programmes can be tracked, finances managed and controlled and work planning can be undertaken with supporting capacity.
  • Supporting delivery of projects to agreed business requirements, agreed timescale and budget in line with corporate project management standards.
  • Works with stakeholders, to ensure that projects meet business requirements, specifically ensuring the benefits realisation plans are in place and delivered.

Profile

A successful Project Support Officer should have:

  • Considerable experience of project management or equivalent transferable skills and experience.
  • Problem solving skills and ability to respond to sudden unexpected demands - Flexible and responsive to change.
  • Excellent time-management skills.
  • Initiative to develop solutions and work plans based on business demands and objectives.
