I am working with a family run haulage company who are looking for a Warehouse administrator to join their team on a permanent basis in Hinstock.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide general administration support as required to aid the efficient running of operations.
- To keep accurate records of pallets to avoid financial exposure and inability.
- Proactively manage all stock movement documentation, in line with agreed process and procedures.
- To update the systems with relevant data - movement of cases /pallet transactions.
- To liaise with customers, haulier's, and other departments within the company on all issues relating to the operation.
- Maintain storage database and schedules with no effect to the service levels and stock integrity.
- Escalate to the Warehouse Supervisor any issues that are likely to affect the performance of the department, site, or relationship with the customer.
- To comply with Quality, Health and Safety procedures and to ensure a safe working environment for self and others.
Key skills
- IT Literate including Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational skills - able to keep all paperwork in methodical order and ensuring the correct paperwork is allocated.
- Excellent communication skills (Verbally and electronically) - must be able to communicate with the warehouse/Drivers and Office to make sure that all relevant parties are aware of arrival of deliveries to make the day run more efficiently.
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced and changing environment.
- Motivated and able to work under pressure with the ability to meet critical deadlines.
- Able to work on their own initiative or as part of a team.
