My client a leading consultancy is looking for a Release Management Specialist to join their projects team based in Dublin.
As Release Management Specialist you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end release process for sophisticated software systems and support development and test teams in maintaining various environments.
Responsibilities:
- Assist development and test teams in maintaining all Revenue environments.
- Improve build and release processes through automation.
- Troubleshoot issues related to Revenue's technology stacks, including Weblogic, Chef, and Docker.
- Utilise Revenue incident management tools and procedures.
- Collaborate with the Revenue CMDB and Service Desk tools.
- Occasionally perform Live Releases and support Test environments during weekends.
- Conduct critical maintenance and upgrade tasks outside of regular work hours as needed.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience working collaboratively in a team on projects involving diverse technologies and architectures.
- Familiarity with standards-driven environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic proficiency in UNIX tasks (navigation, file manipulation, editing).
- Experience with Docker is highly desirable.
