Technical Pension Administration Trainer

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Technical Pension Administration Trainer to join our team at Isio. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programmes aimed at enhancing the technical skills and knowledge of our pension administration staff. This role demands a thorough understanding of pension schemes, legislation, and industry best practices, coupled with a passion for teaching and developing others.

This is a brand new role to support the growth and development of Isio's pension admin teams across the country and a fabulous opportunity to make this role your own with your experience and knowledge of pensions training.

The role can be based in our Croydon, Reading, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Manchester city centre offices on a hybrid basis with regular travel to the other offices to deliver training and spend time with key stakeholders.

Role and Responsibilities

Training Design and Development:

  • Create engaging and informative training materials, including presentations, manuals, and e-learning modules, tailored to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Keep abreast of the latest pension legislation and industry trends to ensure training content remains current and relevant.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to integrate practical scenarios and case studies into training programs.

Training Delivery:

  • Conduct classroom-based, virtual, and on-the-job training sessions for a diverse range of employees.
  • Facilitate interactive workshops and seminars that promote active learning and practical application of knowledge.
  • Measure training effectiveness through feedback, evaluations, and assessments, and make necessary improvements.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Regularly evaluate and update training programs to ensure alignment with Isio's goals and industry standards.
  • Identify skill gaps and training needs within the pension administration team and propose targeted training solutions.
  • Mentor and support other employees towards achieving their competence, foster a culture of continuous learning and development.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in pension administration with a strong technical background.
  • Previous experience in designing and delivering training programs, preferably in a pensions or corporate environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK pension schemes, regulations, and industry practices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire learners.
  • Relevant professional qualifications in pensions or training (e.g., PMI, CIPD) are desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptable and open to new ideas and methods.
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
