Social Worker - Adults
Contract 36 hours per week
£35 per hour
Sefton MBC are looking for an experienced practitioner with considerable experience in the field expected to undertake complex cases including assessment and management of risks.
Recognised by peers as a source of reliable knowledge and expertise demonstrating critical knowledge of the range of theories and models for social work intervention.
Expected to oversee the teaching and assessment of social work students carrying out practice learning placements as required. Required to give evidence in court in relation to care proceedings.
Essential
Qualifications:
Relevant professional qualification (SW Degree or equivalent) and current registration with Social Work England).
Evidence of successful completion their ASYE year in practice.
Experience:
At least 2 years post qualifying experience.
Qualified Practice Educator or willingness to undertake training.
Best Interest Assessor or willingness to undertake training.
Worked with minimal supervision undertaking a complex caseload
