Senior Sustainability Engineer

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an independent multidisciplined consultancy who provide a comprehensive range of services within the built environment across the UK. They are currently looking for a Senior Sustainability Engineer to join an ambitious team of engineers in their Oxford offices.

Role responsibilities for a Senior Sustainability Engineer will include:

  • Take the lead on multidisciplinary projects across a range of sectors from inception through to completion
  • Carry out feasibility studies and report writing for planning submissions
  • Use IES-VE software to carry out TM59 overheating assessments and optimise building performance
  • Produce specifications for project design as well as helping develop professionally junior members of the team

The ideal Senior Sustainability Engineer will have:

  • Degree within a sustainability, architectural, or engineering discipline
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a relevant role within the building services industry
  • Strong knowledge of UK building regulations such as Part L and Part O
  • Working experience with IES-VE software to carry out energy modelling and analysis
  • Experience managing more junior team members
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
