Day to Day of the Role of a Business and Economics Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality A Level lessons to small groups of students.
- Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and excellence.
- Prepare students for A Level examinations with a focus on achieving top results.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the college's vibrant academic community.
- Participate in regular staff meetings and contribute to the college's continuous improvement.
- Support and guide students throughout their academic journey at the college.
Required Skills & Qualifications for the Business and Economics position:
- Possess a degree from a recognised University.
- Preferably have experience teaching A Level Economics, with or without a teaching qualification.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the curriculum.
- Exhibit excellent collaboration skills and enthusiasm for working alongside colleagues.
- Embody principles of thoughtfulness and intentionality in decision-making and actions.
- Have a growth mindset and value innovation as a route to improvement and growth.
- Build and foster relationships characterised by kindness, care, empathy, and respect.
- Be a reflective practitioner open to feedback and different perspectives.
- Embrace and effectively use technology as a tool for teaching and learning.
