Gleeson Recruitment are supporting a fast growing business based in Birmingham City Centre to recruit a Interim Finance Manager on a 6 month contract. The role is to support the Group Financial Controller in the preparation of monthly reporting and day-to-day responsibilities within the finance function.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the monthly reporting, requiring close working relationship with finance and management teams.
- Prepare management information and accounts for review to tight deadlines.
- Work closely with the Group Partners as required.
- Ensuring spending, including overheads, is in line with budgets.
- Produce monthly statistical information for the Group, and use analytical procedures to assess the viability of performance within the Group.
- Work closely with the CFO/GFC to assist in the integration the back office reporting of completed transactions.
- Report to the CFO/GFC and manage a team of qualified and non-qualified staff, providing support covering management accounts, bookkeeping, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- To manage and comply with HMRC reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Support the Group FP&A manager with data for group analysis requests.
My client has stated the ideal candidate must be ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or hold equivalent qualifications. Ideally they are looking for someone who has experience in PE backed businesses. Team management is an essential.
