Description
Main responsibilities of the role:
- Assist with the monthly payroll process.
- Prepare annual P11D statements for submission.
- Prepare and post accruals and prepayments to SAP.
- Reconcile and post weekly bank statements to SAP.
- Prepare weekly cash flow statements based on bank reconciliations.
- Review VAT on invoices for accuracy.
- Authorise and perform financial checks on purchase ledger invoices.
- Support financial year-end activities and collaborate with external auditors.
- Complete ad-hoc finance-related tasks.
Profile
The successful candidate would ideally have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Started working towards an Accountancy qualification i.e. ACCA, ACA or CIMA
- Proficiency in financial software such as SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Good analytical skills with an attention to detail.
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
