Are you an experienced Research Impact Officer ready to make a difference in a well reputable public sector organisation?

Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join their as a Research Impact Officer to work on a hybrid basis meaning you'll be working from home for up to 80% of your time with the on-site work being based in West Yorkshire.

Salary & Benefits:

  • £30k-£36k per year (dependant of experience)
  • Mostly home working (average of 1 day per week on-site in West Yorkshire)

As the Impact Officer, you will play a key role in managing the impact assessments of schemes and programmes within our client's training and fellowship portfolio. You will work closely with the Impact Manager to monitor and track the progress of our client's academy members, ensuring the long-term effectiveness of their funding and support. In addition, you will assist in defining, analysing, and communicating the impact of our client's investment in research capacity development.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting research and evaluation into programmes (to understand if programmes are running well and efficiently)
  • Producing case studies and reports
  • Building strong relationships with internal external stakeholders
  • Liaising with colleagues at all levels, both internally and externally

To excel in this role, you should have demonstrable experience in research management and/or administration. You should be comfortable working with quantitative and qualitative data analysis in Excel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be liaising with a range of people from diverse backgrounds.
