Job Title: Financial Controller
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
Location: Hemel Hempstead
Contract: Permanent, Full time, 9.00 am to 5pm, hybrid currently they do 3 days in 2 days from home.

COMPANY PROFILE
Due to our client experience continuous growth they are expanding their finance team and is currently recruiting for a highly skilled and experienced financial controller.
The financial controller vacancy is significant in supporting the clients expanding operations.
The successful applicant will work closely with their existing financial controller and oversee all financial activities, improve financial processes and help drive business growth.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Part or fully qualified in AAT or CIMA or ACCA is highly desirable
- Experience using SAGE 200 is highly desirable
- A wealth of experience in accounting or finance ideally within a technology company
- Proven experience as a finance controller
- A proven understanding of P&L accounts
- Knowledge of IFRS standard and financial recruitment
- Advanced Excel
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working closely with the current controller to oversee the preparation and publication of timely monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements
- Support the annual budgeting process and provide forecasts
- Analyse budget variances
- Manage all accounting operations including billing, AR, AP, GL, Cost accounting etc
- Lead and support on finance improvement projects
- Oversee all tax matters
- Coordinate the preparation & management of external audits
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support decisions
- Ensure cash flow is utilised properly
- Co-lead and support the accounting team and provide training and development opportunities
- Travel to other site once a month

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Travel up north to other office once a month, mileage and hotel expenses paid.
