The Company
An established family run engineering business is looking to add to their long standing team by appointing an Assistant Accountant. In this role you will manage the day to day accounting function and will be the "go to" person for all accounts related queries. You will be happy working in a manufacturing environment and on site 5 days a week.

What will you do as Assistant Accountant?
- Sales ledger, Purchase ledger and Credit Control
- Month End reports and Quarterly VAT Returns
- Processing Supplier Accounts
- Account reconciliations, Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Finance management
- Journal ledger management - Prepayments, salaries & cost code corrections
- Asset Register - Recording and registering new assets, posting depreciation
What do you need as a Assistant Accountant?
- AAT qualified or qualified by experience
- Previous experience working as an accounts assistant
- Proficient use of Manu, Xero, Office 365
- Manufacturing background would be advantageous
