We are a haircare wholesaler looking for a warehouse operative to join our small team of three.
Working Hours
- Mon-Fri, 8:30am-4:30pm with a 30 minute lunch.
Main Responsibilities
- Following the delivery in process accurately and ensuring the paperwork is correct. You are signing for the amount of pallets/boxes you have actually received.
- Ensuring that any orders are correctly picked and stacked/packaged correctly making sure of safe transit of the stock.
- Ensuring box numbers and paperwork are neatly completed.
- Maintaining the correct figures on our stock system lists and the accurate counting of pallets to ensure it stays as up to date as possible.
- You will be required to complete documents relating to shipments, however training will be provided.
Skills
- Operating a forklift is essential.
- Having a positive attitude to being at work and wanting to overcome any issues with solutions that may arise.
- Good attention to detail and time keeping such as punctuality, arriving, leaving, lunch and breaks.
- The ability to work alone and support other jobs when your own is complete by using your own initiative. For example: identifying any low stock levels that may need to be taken down from the racking.
