We are inviting applications for an Maths Teacher position at a reputable educational institution in Basingstoke. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students up to GCSE level, encompassing Key Stages 3 and 4. This is a permanent role with a start date in September 2024 although there may be the possibility of commencing earlier.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Design and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the requirements of the Maths curriculum for KS3 and KS4.
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote learning and development.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop teaching materials and share best practices.
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development sessions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- A degree in Maths or a closely related field.
- Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4 levels.
- Familiarity with the latest educational strategies and teaching methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
