Our client is looking for a Mortgage & Protection Administrator who is self-motivated and willing to work as part of a team to achieve the best outcomes for clients. You should have a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn the company's way of working. Experience in a financial planning or a mortgage firm is essential.
As an overview, your tasks will involve:
- Regular liaison with lenders and providers to obtain updates on applicant status
- Proactively progressing mortgage and protection applications through to completion
- Handling incoming calls, emails, and post
- Submission of mortgage & protection applications
- Researching and sourcing mortgage products
- Supporting and working closely with financial planners and other team members
- Managing client documentation and recommendation reports
- Processing financial transactions within SLA
- Monitoring workflow to ensure all steps are completed
- Keeping up to date with FCA regulations and internal policies
- Arranging client meetings and appointments
- Managing and maintaining client data within the back-office system
- Communicating effectively with clients and third-party service providers in a professional and timely manner
- Preparing accurate and timely documentation for client meetings
- Acting as the prime point of contact for potential and existing clients.
