Fire Risk Assessor

We have an opportunity for a Fire Risk Assessor to join our national team of assessors, based in London. The role sits within Compliance, which is responsible for managing the Group's compliance responsibilities including gas servicing and fire risk assessments to ensure the Group's properties comply with legislation.
The role of Fire Risk Assessor will include:
- Attending Sanctuary and Swan stock carrying out type 1 FRAs on housing stock
- Occasional FRAs to be carried out on care homes, supported living sites and student accommodation
- Manage works related to fire risk assessments, inspections and surveys
- Produce reports and documentation for work specifications to assist in addressing and resolving issues
- Maintain records of fire risk assessments and related activities
Skills and experiences:
- Level 4 FPA qualified (level 3 accepted when working towards level 4) or equivalent
- Proven track record of FRA delivery
- Working knowledge of legislation and current practices
- Colin Todd specialised certification on purpose block of flats, residential care homes or equivalent would be advantageous
- Travel is a requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is essential

- Role salary is £34,773 with an additional policy allowance of £11,301 per annum (rising to £36,603 with an additional policy allowance of £11,896 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
- If qualified to FPA Level 4 role salary is £34,773 with an additional policy allowance of £12,702 per annum (rising to £36,603 with an additional policy allowance of £13,371 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
