Career opportunity for a mechanically biased, Lead Maintenance Engineer!

A fantastic opportunity for a Lead Engineer with experience gained within the FMCG/Process manufacturing industries. You will coordinate daily duties and maintain processing machinery and all site related equipment. This is a dynamic production company offering long-service and rewarding careers, based around the Peterborough area.

Duties:

Coordinating and prioritisation of the tasks for the day, support and feed-up to management when required. You will not be managing individuals but more supporting on daily processes, equating to around 30% of your role. The remaining 70% will be performing reactive and preventative maintenance on a variety of automated processing plant and equipment. Diagnosis of electrical and mechanical faults. Making plant improvements whenever possible including participation in Project work.

Candidate Essentials:

The ideal Maintenance Engineer will have completed an Apprenticeship or possess level 3 (or above) qualifications in Mechanical engineering.

This would suit candidates with previous experience of performing Lead or Senior Engineer duties or those with the experience, character and drive to step into this type of role.

You must have proven experience gained within Food/Pharmaceutical/Chemical or High-care type industries with Electro-Mechanical skills to resolve break-downs, fault-finding, rectification and servicing.

Shifts: 4 on, 4 off (DAYS ONLY) + Call-Out Rota (1 in 4)

Salary: Circa £47,711 p.a
