Job Title: Interim Programme Manager - Council Delivery Plan Reporting
Location: London, Hybrid
Contract: Interim, 6 months +
Daily Rate: Competitive, depending on experience (Inside IR35)

The Opportunity:
The Business Intelligence Lead will develop an advanced business intelligence function for the Council, ensuring high-quality, strategic reporting and performance management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver the Council's Performance Management Framework, analyse performance data to drive change and service excellence.
- Build effective partnerships across the Council and with key partner agencies.
- Lead a modern Business Intelligence function, providing strategic advice to senior leaders and driving continuous performance improvement across Council activities.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in Performance and Business Intelligence within large, complex organisations. Local authority experience is essential.
- Proven success in developing and implementing performance strategies to achieve organisational outcomes.
- Ability to build relationships as well as solve and pre-empt problems and to lead and motivate teams and develop a performance culture.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex information.
- Solid understanding of local government challenges and the role of Business Intelligence in addressing them.
- Ability to lead a team, fostering a high-performance culture, with exceptional organisational, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
This role requires adaptability, problem-solving, and a proactive approach to organisational improvement in the public sector.
